RBS Apprenticeship Insight Day (Females)

Date: 7 June 2018

Time: 10:00 - 16:00

In promotion of diversity and inclusion, RBS is working with Skills Development Scotland to run an Insight Day for schools in the Edinburgh and Lothian areas. This will take place at their headquarters, RBS Gogarburn on Thursday 7th June. The purpose of this is to promote their apprentice programme to young female pupils, although male pupils are also more than welcome to attend.

The day itself will be informative and fun-filled for pupils. It will consist of tours of the campus and departments, various presentations giving details about the apprenticeship recruitment process, a female senior leader talk and an interactive simulation. Pupils will also get the chance to engage with some current apprentices to ask any questions they may have about the programme.

RBS apprenticeship programmes are a brilliant opportunity for school leavers to gain valuable work experience while thriving in a diverse and exciting environment. This could be the start of a life long career and is a wonderful alternative to higher education. Apprentices would work towards gaining a recognised qualification alongside gaining experience in their day job in the bank, all while earning a generous starting salary. RBS will be providing both lunch and transport for any pupils wishing to attend.
